Hi friends! I hope your day is off to an awesome start! Today is an exciting day because it’s my hubby’s birthday! To him, it’s just another day, but to me, it’s a day to celebrate him and all that he is!
This picture was taken back in 2007 when my girlfriends and I threw Dustin a 23rd birthday party!
Growing up, in our house, birthdays were always a big deal. We dedicated the day to whose ever birthday it was and made them feel particularly special. This is one of my favorite childhood memories, and therefore, it is something I will continue into my adulthood for not only my children but family too!
Today’s post is dedicated all to him because of the incredible person that he is. Each and every day, I feel particularly blessed to call him my better half. Dustin doesn’t have a selfish bone is is body and gives until it hurts (but doesn’t even feel the pain). He is genuine, thoughtful, and happy. He is positive and looks for the good even in the worst of situations. I met Dustin my freshman year of college and was so happy to marry him my senior year. The past five years of marriage have brought me more joy than I could have ever imagined because of the ray of sunshine this guy brings into my life. Although we have moved twelve times in the past five years, each of those moves became home because that was where my heart was. Here’s a look back at the past eight years (my how time flies!)
